Teach your child about the Nile River

Did you know that the Nile has its origin in Paradise?

The Prophet may peace be upon him, said:

النِّيلُ وَالْفُرَاتُ وَسَيْحَانُ وَجَيْحَانُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ

Which means: “Fours rivers have their origin in Paradise: the Nile, the Euphrates, Sayhan ( سيحان)and Jayhan (جيحان)”.

The last two are near the region of Turkey.

During the night of the great miracle of Al-Mi’raj, when the Prophet ascended to the upper world, he saw the Nile and the Euphrates. God knows how these rivers reach the earth.
The Nile, the longest river, has many benefits. It provides irrigation to a huge area, and millions of people depend on its water. And since it originates in Paradise, it has blessing in it even though the water changes when it comes down to earth.
