Description
This is a story about a little boy named Sam. Sam experiences different emotions in one day. It was a special day for him because it was the day of ‘Eid, and he received a toy that he really wanted and could not wait to start playing with it. Then, something unexpected happened, and Sam got terribly upset. As the story goes on, Sam learns more about anger and ways to manage it and calm himself down, finding a way to enjoy the day and deal with his little volcano.
Sam’s Little Volcano is part of a series of educational books that teach children ways to explore themselves and the others around them, to be able to manage their emotions and communicate in a positive way. This allows them to have better relationships, feel proud of themselves, and apply the teachings of our beloved Prophet in their daily choices. Written and developed by Zeina El-Chaar, behavior counsellor and psychoeducator, specialized in helping children, teenagers and their families.
